97. KVET Free Texas Music Series at The Hills Café
Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Outside, Things To Do In Austin | 7 Apr 2010The only thing better then fun in Austin is free fun in Austin. Now that it is time for the 98.1 KVET Texas Music Series on Wednesday nights it makes me feel as if we have almost reached summer in Austin because in my book these two go hand in hand.
The party starts tonight with a personal favorite of mine, Roger Creager, he is always a crowd pleaser and puts on a good show. The Concert Series continues for 26 weeks and is a hot stop that draws a crowd of all ages every Wednesday Night throughout September. Without a doubt, it is Texas Fun at its best. The Hills Café has staged hundreds of Texas Country favorites on its outdoor stage and is a definite stop for everyone who is seeking to call themselves a true Austintie.
Doors Open 6:00pm.
