107. Austin Toros Basketball Game

Family Friendly, Sporting Events, Things To Do In Austin | 17 Apr 2010

It’s a great day to break a World Record. What to do on a rainy Saturday in Austin, I am getting up and doing the Mighty Texas Dog Walk, World Record Here we come, Fingers Crossed. Today was tricky I had to “X” out the smorgousboard of outside activies and come up with some indoor fun.

I was tempted and even started to write on a restruant to enjoy to keep you inside but than it dawned on me that this was an even better Saturday activity and fun for the whole family. The Austin Toros Round Two Playoff Game is today vs. the Rio Grande Valley Versus.

The Austin Toros are a professional NBA D-League (not really sure if there is an A, B, C league) basketball team that are owned and operated by the San Antonio Spurs. Since 2005 they have been a great opportunity to get out and watch some basketball at a great price.

I have been to a few Toros’ games in my day and they are always a fun time when you are looking for something different to enjoy, I think now would be one of the best times to enjoy them since they are in the playoffs, its always fun to watch a winning team.
