116. Nelo’s Cycles Shop Weekday Ride
Free things to do in Austin, Outside, Sporting Events, Things To Do In Austin | 26 Apr 2010So how was everyone’s weekend? It was a great weekend to call yourself an Austinite so many great things going on around town.

I thought we might as well take advantage of these sunny days and enjoy the great outdoors. This weather makes me want to tackle all those things that I keep swearing I’ll try soon, like stand up paddle boarding, an adventure race and maybe even a mini-triathlon.
Having said that, my main struggle with doing a triathlon is the biking end of it all. With Austin being such a cyclist friendly town I am shocked that I haven’t spent more time bike riding. There are so many opportunities to get out and ride. Today Nelo’s Cycles does a great 20-25 mile loop that starts at their shop of Mesa.
The ride lasts an hour to an hour and half and average pace is 15-17 mph.
Mondays: 7:00pm
Please feel free to share other rides that happen around town this summer – I am all about enjoying the outdoors! Let’s keeping on keeping Austin Fit! I think Lance Armstrong would appreciate today’s post!
