We have reached the end of yet another week, that brings one of my favorite times of the week here in Austin, Sunday Brunch.  It combines two of my favorite things food and most of the time day drinking.

I am huge fan of the South Lamar neighborhood and all that the area has to offer not mention if you can avoid downtown I will take that in an effort to avoid any parking problems.

Alright here is a major high point – they get a lot of their ingredients local, so I love that – local supporting local. They also have some of the best service that you will get in town. The staff and the atmosphere making Olivia top notch.

It is not the cheapest place in town but one of those places that is worth it every now and than because it does not disappoint, it is one of those places that every time you go you leave having the same great experience.

The brunch menu serves up a combination of comfort food and some wild card items. My one complaint is that I love a place that has great Sunday Drink specials and they don’t, you definitely are not going to go there because of the prices.

Sunday Brunch is 10:30-2:30.

One last food thought – I have never had it but my friends that recommended it to me and what when it has come up in conversation the “Lamb’s Tongue” gets highly recommended time and time again. In an effort to “try new things” I may have to give it a shot in the near future because I feel like when “Olivia’s comes up the “Lamb’s Tongue” is always mentioned.
