137. Trash To Treasure Donation Drive
Free things to do in Austin, Things To Do In Austin | 17 May 2010Spring cleaning anyone? This annual recycling program hosted by the UT Campus Environmental Center is a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted belongings as well as benefit the Campus Environmental Center.
Each year they collect students and community members’ unwanted belongs and recycle them in a massive garage sale when school starts in August. It’s a great way for students to get cheap good for their new homes, its recycling, and the money raised benefits recycling, litter reduction and energy conservation programs.

Furniture
Clothing
Shoes
Household Storage
Decoration Items
Working Electronics
Books
Kitchen Supplies
They DO NOT take: broken items, mattresses, cleaning chemicals, food.
