138. Sazon Mexican Restaurant

Happy Tuesday everyone, who enjoyed the storm last night, crazy lightening storm, I must say I love a rainy night. Back to things to do in Austin, something about Tuesday screams “Taco Tuesday” so here I am finding myself writing about another 78704 favorite of mine, Sazon.

When this whole blog started I always said I could be pretty reliable when it comes to Mexican food and margaritas because trust me, that is one thing that I know. If there is anything that I am expert on this is my arena.  I prefer the Strawberry here but have tried others and they never disappoint, bonus points for the fact that they do not skimp on the alcohol.

If there is one thing I know around town it is margaritas, honestly I can go into details about more places I care to know about the consistency, taste, strength, of their frozen margarita. When it comes to Sazon they really do make a mean margarita.

Before go on let me say that this is “authentic” Mexican food, you walk in and get lost in a moment. For those of you who have been to Fonda San Miguel (much more expensive and upscale) the food is similar to them.

I also always say that any place gets an extra thumbs up if on more than one occasion I have had great service, this makes that grade as well.

They have won plenty of local awards so check out their website for the full list. It goes without saying I doubt you will be disappointed.

I am a realtor here in Austin, and clients are always asking for suggestions on what to do around town. So, I thought I would blog about my experiences, recommendations and what you have to do before you can call yourself a true Austinite.
