I can honestly say that I do not know where to start, I ventured out the other day to try something new and discovered some of the best margaritas in Austin, Polvos.

I am an expert of few things, very few things actually but when it comes to margaritas I am a true connoisseur. Hands down, best frozen margarita I have ever had in Austin or anywhere. I went mango but since have had others, I prefer mango but it will satisfy anyway you take it. It was so smooth, not too icy or watery – as either of those can kill a margarita. Not to mention you can buy frozen margaritas by the pitcher, that in itself is a very dangerous game.

Truthfully, since I have discovered Polvos it is a place I go for drinks, chips, appetizers so I cannot render an opinion on the food. They have a salsa bar that is fantastic.

Like I said before, my trying this all started off in what my sister and I call “blog research” a place that I hear about a lot and have not tried  and want to blog about before I write about I drag my little sidekick to go try it out. I cannot believe that I love margaritas so much and it took me this long to discover the wonderfulness of them.

Great patio and great place to take out of town guests, a must go Austinites.
