162. Cuatros
Bars / Happy Hour, Family Friendly, Restaurants, Things To Do In Austin | 11 Jun 2010It is here, The World Cup. For last few weeks I feel as my news feed has been overflowing with hype and excitement about it. After thinking about it, for some reason I kept coming back to Cuatros when thinking of a place to recommend watching it. Maybe it is because a year or so ago someone was talking about how the owners over there are huge soccer fanatics but whatever the reason it stuck.
Turns out they are more than ready for this soccer showdown, they have a tent set up, extra TV’s and are ready for more soccer than I think I can take.
In unrelated World Cup news, I love Cuatros to watch any sporting event, mostly away UT games. They have a great set up with indoor and outdoor seating. Colt McCoy must agree because I have seen him there on more than one occasion. It is a great place for groups as I have never had problems accommodating 10-15 people on game day. I really like the menu, pretty basic sports bar food that is always good. The drink menu is great – a little bit of everything, including frozen margaritas. All at great prices.
I highly recommend Cuatros for any sport watching or just an afternoon of day drinking on their patio.
