I was torn on what to make today’s number because there are several cool things going on around Austin today but I had to be true to myself and what really gets me excited and it is definitely Aquapolooza. It absolutely combines all my favorite things in life, #1. Family/friends #2. The lake, #.3 boats, #.4 sun, #5. booze, #6. Country music, honestly what more can you wrap into a nice little Saturday?

They are expecting over 4,000 boats and at least 40,000 people out there throughout the day to see country singing favorite Brad Paisley perform on Lake Travis.

The party gets started as early as you want to get out there but the official start time is 12:00p.m, ending at 8:00p.m. Beyond what is expected to be a phenomenal show by Brad Paisley they will also have games, give-a ways  and much more.

A few pointers for the day: once you tie up out there you are in for a full day. There is no turning on your boat engine until after Brad Paisley is done from what I have heard, that is expected to be around 6:30pm. So do not forget to come prepared with plenty of sunscreen, water, drinks, and whatever else you may need.

Remember, always stay safe on the lake.
