195. Community Night at Austin Children’s Museum
Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 14 Jul 2010It would be unfair to blog on another restaurant today because Eastside Café is a tough act to follow. That what brings me to some free (or really cheap) fun for the entire family.
Every Wednesday night the museum stays open late for families to enjoy the exhibits and Storytime.
This is popular little spot in town to beat the heat, break out your creative side and have an education experience. Popular it is as More than 800,000 visitors have enjoyed exhibits and programs since the Museum doors opened at its current home.
The featured exhibit right now is “the Big Game.” Get ready to play jumbo sized versions of some of your favorite family friendly games.
I am no longer 8 years old but from what I hear from that age bracket it is really really fun.
Admission: FREE but a donation of $1.00 per person is suggested.
Time: 5:00-8:00pm
Location:
201 Colorado Street
Austin, Texas 78701
