Restaurants, Things To Do In Austin | 16 Aug 2010In all honestly I am not much of a sushi lover but to say my friends are would be a huge understatement. I am never one to pass up a meal out so I have ventured here more than once because it is a favorite among many.
For not being much of sushi lover for some reason this just slides right down. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they have fish flown in every week from Japan making their sushi so amazingly fresh and flavorful it is like nothing I have ever tasted. From experience, I would say always listen to the waiters recommendations as they are very knowledgeable and often suggest things that I would never have thought to even try.
The entire experience of eating here is 5 stars, the staff, atmosphere, chef, food, everything about it is just a fantastic experience. You leave there wishing every time you ate out was such a remarkable experience.
I would say that it is rather upscale and on the pricier side of my dining habits, but worth it.
I would be doing this place an injustice if all the true sushi lovers did not leave their comments in a testament to how great of place this is because those that know sushi can probably leave an opinion on aspects of this restaurant that would not even cross my mind.
I do know Austin and I do know that this is a must stop for all sushi levels that make it to the Captial City, so anyone in town for Fashion Week looking for a recommendation, check it out.
Word of the wise, make reservations, always.
