Fashion Week only happens once a year, so I might as well take this opportunity to point out some of the signature events of the week. Fashion Week lovers, this will be your Thursday night of the year because they have a little bit of everything.

Here are some highlights:

Sushi lovers, How Do You Roll? will be at Beyond Tradition serving sushi all night. It would be a great stop for some sushi from one of Austin’s newest hot little sushi spots, and chance to buy some jewelry and enjoy some Tito’s vodka.

Peyton’s Place will be having a Moroccan night full of festivities including Henna tattoos, appetizers, dancers, live music and much more!

2009’s Austin Fashion Week’s Best Boutique, Estilo, will be having cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a DJ, and a showcase of local jewelry designers.

Gallery D and Cynthia Bloom Jewelry will be hosting an evening of shopping, wine and treats. On a personal note, I LOVE Cynthia Bloom’s jewelry, in fact I am wearing a pair of her earrings right now. Every time I wear her stuff I get tons of compliments! It’s so unique, but not over the top.

Finally, I must mention that Lofty Dog is offering “pet”-icures and “poochini’s” (martinis) from 6 to 8 p.m., so you can enjoy a drink while your pet gets pampered!
