250. Trivial Pursuit Night at Jo’s Coffee
Coffee Shops, Free things to do in Austin, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 7 Sep 2010After a big holiday weekend, a night of taking it easy is exactly what everyone needs. I absolutely love game night, even though I’m not nearly as good at games like Trivial Pursuit as I would like to be. I tend to prefer games like Catch Phrase, Cranium and Balderdash, but any game night is always hard to pass up.
For those that don’t know, Trivial Pursuit is your basic general knowledge trivia game. It’s really fun with categories ranging from pop culture to history and geography. It’s funny how sometimes under pressure the answers don’t come to you like you think they would, but again, trivia was never my strong suit.
Trivial Pursuit Night is hosted by James Patrick Robinson of the New Movement Improv, which is totally awesome. I actually blogged on them, see list item #70 — The New Movement, http://365thingsaustin.com/2010/03/11/70-the-new-movement/. They’re hysterical, so tomorrow night is bound to be a great time.
Bring as many players as you want for your team, the more the merrier! Prizes vary each month. Get your game face on, it’s Trivial Pursuit time.
