It’s starting to feel like fall in Austin, and I’m absolutely loving it! We’re knocking on the door to October, and it brings some of the best beer drinking time all year with Oktoberfest parties and beer-centric events like Brewtopia.

Brewtopia will be featured at both Central Market stores in town, and provides an opportunity to learn more about one of America’s favorite pastimes - beer drinking. There will be classes, brewmasters from some of America’s favorite breweries and plenty of beer sampling. Some of the events are free, and some you have to sign up for ahead of time and pay.

If you are looking to plan ahead, they have some free events later in the week at Central Market Westgate – all are 4:00-7:00pm
Thursday – Pryramid Sampling with master brewer Tom Bleigh
Friday – Brewmaster of Ommegang, Cooperstown, NY
Saturday- New Belgium Brewmaster/Sensory Specialist sampling

Check out the schedule and have some fun. This just seemed like the perfect event as we get into fall and start tailgating, heading to Wurstfest and doing all the other things that center around enjoying a nice cold one.
