279. Austin Ghost Tours

Outside, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 6 Oct 2010

I for one don’t like to be scared, but I know tons of people love the adrenaline rush of a good horror flick or a campfire ghost story. With October in full swing and Halloween on the horizon, there’s probably no better time to head out on a spooky ghost tour of Austin.

Austin Ghost Tours has a two scary adventures for you to chose from: Ghosts of the Capitol-Old Pecan Street Ghosts of the Warehouse District

These hour-and-half walking tours are pretty informational — providing well-researched Austin and Texas history, all while telling the true and sometimes frightening stories of the people, places and events in Austin’s past and present. Each tour highlights different stories, and the tour guides are amazing storytellers.

If I was brave, I would probably do the Capitol Tour because I’ve heard some pretty crazy stories about things that have happened on the Capitol grounds. But both tours promise to leave the hair on the back of your neck standing up!

Price: $20.00

Tours are rain or shine! Muhahaha! A ghost tour in the rain just sounds frightening, but I think a scary, stormy night would almost be ideal. Just don’t forget your umbrella and possibility a rain poncho.

With it being a walking tour and all, always wear comfy shoes!

Tours Begin at:
Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill
