284. NYT Bestselling Author Book Signing at BookPeople
Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Things To Do In Austin | 11 Oct 2010Wow, the big weekend is finally over. I feel like today should be a holiday, so everyone out there who gave it their all can have a day to recuperate. But as we all know, that’s not the case, and a that’s the reason why today’s list item is nothing too exhaustive.
Plan ahead alert: with the Texas Book Festival coming up this weekend, I thought there was no better time than now to give book lovers some love of my own.
R. A. Salvatore will be giving a talk and signing books tonight. He’s the author of more than 40 novels, including more than a dozen that made the New York Times Bestsellers list. He writes mostly fiction and fantasy books.
Even if this isn’t your cup of tea when it comes to books, keep a look out for upcoming events at Book People. They’re always bringing in authors that appeal to all different genres.
One more serious plan ahead alert: Friday, October 29th – Former President Jimmy Carter will be there.
