286. Halloween Pumpkin Painting
Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 13 Oct 2010With Halloween not too far away, I was going to blog on my favorite Austin pumpkin patch, but the patch doesn’t open until next week! Since I have pumpkins on the brain, this little activity came in as a close second.
First of all, this is an adult activity. I see the pumpkin painting class as a fun way to spice up wine time with some girlfriends. I‘m still on the fence, as I’m not sure if painting a pumpkin or carving one would be more of mess – but at least this mess isn’t at your house! The cool thing about the night is that the class is BYOB. I think the booze help spark some creativity and ultimately bring out our best work. It’s always fun to reach inside and find your inner Picasso.
If pumpkin painting is not your thing and you would prefer to paint something a little more permanent to display in your home year long, they have classes coming up with UT themed paintings & much more. Check out their schedule: http://www.paintingwithatwist.com/northaustin/
Those seeking the excitement and tradition of carving pumpkins in your own home, check back next week for my recommendation on an Austin pumpkin patch!
Time: 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Price: $35.00 – the class is BYOB!
