300. Texas Volleyball Match
Family Friendly, Sporting Events, Things To Do In Austin | 27 Oct 2010Happy 300th day of 2010!
I hope that everyone has had a great year so far and has tried a new thing or two in our great city!
I thought with today being the 300th list item it should be something that I really enjoy.
I’m fan of all UT athletics, and the volleyball games were always a blast to go to!
It just so happens that tonight’s game against Nebraska is one of the best match-ups in Texas volleyball all season. It’s one of those games where the rivalry is similar to that of A&M, and it is always a good match. Nebraska will be coming into the game ranked #2 in the nation and Texas is at #10, so it has all the makings of an intense evening.
On top of it being the last Big 12 match-up between Nebraska and Texas, it’s also Costume Night! I always love a reason to get dressed up. Of course wearing burnt orange tonight is just as acceptable, but going to the match in your Halloween get-up could make for a fun night.
Interesting volleyball fact – Texas ranks 11thnationally in game attendance. That’s pretty commendable! Get out there and give them some support!
If you can’t make it tonight there are still a few more opportunities to catch a home game. It’s always an action-packed, fun-filled evening.
As always, Hook ‘em Horns! And Go Rangers!
