301. Harvest Festival for Families
Family Friendly, Festivals, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 28 Oct 2010First off, well played Longhorn volleyball! It’s always good to win! Hook ‘em horns!
I mulled and mulled over today’s post because I just couldn’t figure out what would be the perfect start to Halloween weekend.
It’s one of my favorite holidays. It takes me back to the days of trick-or-treating and my dad shifting through all our candy to make sure none of it looked “suspicious.” Oh how I love countless packets of sweet tarts and snickers bars!
Side note: could we ask for better weather? This “cool” front could not have come sooner! It’s definitely fall in Austin!
I’ve received numerous request for kid-friendly Halloween activities this weekend in Austin and there are plenty – check out this link for a full look ://www.ci.austin.tx.us/parks/halloween.htm.
Today the City of Austin is hosting a Harvest Festival at Metropolis Recreation Center. This is an evening full of fun for the kiddos. They will have plenty of music, candy and fun for the entire family.
Fun-seekers over the age of 21, check back this weekend for some adult fun and suggestions for getting crazy this Halloween.
Happy Halloween Austin, lets party!
