303. Zombie Ball at the Seaholm Power Plant
Live Music, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 30 Oct 2010You have waited, and it’s finally time for some adult Halloween fun.
Today and tomorrow are “Halloween on 6th Street.” I only warn you because I’ve had countless people ask me when the true “Halloween Downtown” is, and the masses will probably be in costume the rest of the weekend.
Details and personal anecdotes from “Halloween on 6th” will be in tomorrow’s blog.
If you are looking to go all-out tonight here’s your chance to join the rest of Austin for a night of Halloween fun. This event combines some of Austin’s favorite Halloween parties (Annual White Ghost Shivers Halloween Ball & D0512 Annual Halloween party) and brings them under one roof. The power plant sits on Lady Bird Lake. When I pass by it during the day it seems like it could be the setting for a horror movie, so I am sure it will be the perfect location for the Zombie Ball.
They’ll have live music all night on two stages, huge dance floors, a light show, haunte’d couture fashion show and much more craziness.
Tickets:
Advance: $20.00
Door: $30.00
While it isn’t the cheapest event around town, it will be the place to be tonight and a Halloween experience like none other.
NUMBER ONE RULE BE SAFE: Sober Ride is offering FREE cab rides home tonight & tomorrow from 11:00pm-3:00am – CALL 512-657-2999.
And lets hope the Longhorns have a good game, Hook ‘em Horns.
Location:
214 West Avenue
Austin, Texas 78701
