Things To Do In Austin, Trailer Eatery | 9 Nov 2010

Since I’ve been eating so much trailer food lately, I’m starting to crave things that I’ve had before. Like yesterday, my mouth was watering for some Lulu B’s, but they’re not open on Mondays. Last week, though, I branched out again to try something unique and found another definite must try.

At first it seems like an odd combination. Korean plus Mexican food? Kimchi tacos? Who woke up one more morning and thought that would be a good idea? Whoever it was deserves a pat on the back, because their lunch blew me out of the water! I had a variety of things to sample — tacos, the quesadillas and the Chi’Fries. I would say that the fries or the tacos took the cake. They were both super spicy, but still really tasty! The fries were flavored with a combination of cilantro (my favorite), onions, cheese, beer and other good stuff. What’s also great is that all their dishes can be made vegetarian!

The absolutely one-of-a-kind combination of Korean plus Mexican gives the food a unique flavor that would be hard to find anywhere else in Austin.

This place is bound to wind up on one of those Food Network shows that follow trailers because of the uniqueness/variety of their food, and its downright deliciousness.
