323. 9th Annual WaffleFest
Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 19 Nov 2010Harry Potter lovers, I hope that this movie was all that you had hoped for. I tried to find some fun Harry Potter event, but it just didn’t work out. Oh well.
But WaffleFest? You had me at all-you-can-eat waffles!
Only in this town can you find an event that combines terrific improv comedy with delicious breakfast treats.
I had my first taste of the Austin improv scene earlier this year after it was suggested to me by a blog follower. My friends and I checked it out, and they had us laughing all night.
WaffleFest is great because this three-day festival gathers 26 local improv groups and puts them all under one roof for your entertainment.
I think it’s a real treat (pun intended). You get to check out the local improve scene while you fill up on enough waffles to last you a lifetime. And don’t worry, this is not their first rodeo. They have plenty of toppings including butter, whipped cream, and yes, even Nutella.
Price: $11.00
Location:
Hideout Theatre
617 Congress Ave
Austin, Texas 78701

Also, with the holidays coming up I am looking for food drives, charity events, any ways to help out the less fortunate in the community so if you have any suggestions/events please let me know!
Happy Weekend Austin.
