I feel like this entire city is crawling with fun holiday events, and while I was very tempted to keep blogging on them, I thought a day of just normal Austin fun might be good for the soul.

Since we’re having a few days of pretty chilly, wintery weather, the thought of catching a movie doesn’t sound half bad. Like I said yesterday, I’m just crushed that the IMAX isn’t showing the Polar Express in 3D this year, but they are currently showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. I’m sure true Harry Potter fans saw the movie at midnight when it came out, but for those that have been busy holiday shopping and still haven’t seen it, the IMAX is the way to go. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — if you’re seeing a movie in Austin you either need to go to Alamo Drafthouse or the IMAX.
