Austin Daily Press — it sounds more like a newspaper than a place to get some late-night grub, but they know how to make a killer sandwich. They cater to the after-hours bar crowd, which is fantastic. Their slogan is “As Toasted As You Are.”

They’re well-known for their run on The Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race.”  The novelty of them being on a reality show had me intrigued, so of course I had to see what all the hype was about.

I was glad I did. They’ve put an awesome twist on the grilled cheese sandwich. And when I’m headed home for the night, few things sounds better than a grilled cheese sandwich. It’ll be the best $6 you spent all night.

They definitely live up to expectations. Next time you pass by, they’re worth the stop — even if you’re stumbling.
