Blogs like yesterday are always so interesting to me. The comments made me realize how so many people see the same thing in so many different ways. Obviously, 37th street has changed over the years. But even though it might be scaled down, is there any chance that we remember things as being better than they actually were? I know that happens to me sometimes. Nonetheless, it’s still an Austin tradition, and I hope those that still do visit can appreciate it for what it is.

For the fun of it, I thought I would blog today on an another street. “Miracle on 34th Street” seemed like the perfect thing to blog on before Christmas, as it’s the ultimate holiday classic. And seeing old movies at the theatre is always fun — something about seeing them on the big screen keeps the magic alive.

While on the subject of the Paramount Theatre – if you’re still looking for New Year’s Eve plans, Bob Schneider will help ring in the New Year at the Paramount. It’s sure to be a great night, and seeing Bob Schneider is another great Austin activity.
