359. Look at Christmas Light Displays

Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 25 Dec 2010

The long-awaited day has arrived. Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you to all the men and women who are away from their families for the holidays and fighting for our country.

Growing up each year my family would spend Christmas Eve night and sometimes Christmas driving around various neighborhoods admiring Christmas light displays. Mozart’s Coffee has put together a list of some of the best displays in town. I thought that was rather fitting for today. Mozart’s was the first item on the list, and as year one of 365 Things to do in Austin is winding down, using Mozart’s Christmas light list seemed like a way of coming full circle. I don’t know what it is about Christmas lights, but even when it’s 75 degrees outside the lights just get me in the Santa mood.

I’m off to spend Christmas morning with my family. Happy Holidays everyone
