This year the festival is special because it will also host the grand opening of a new farmer’s market, and it’s no secret that Austinites love a good farmer’s market.
They also will have arts, crafts, vendors, live music and more. One of my favorite things is spin art. I used to love making spin art, and I for one am glad to hear that it’s making a comeback!
They will have roasted corn, sausage wraps, Amy’s Ice Cream, Elsi’s Restaurat and Hat Creek Burgers! I have been hearing nothing but great things about Hat Creek, so give them a try.
This annual event is a great showcase for all the local art and food Austin has to offer, and it should be a great stop on your Saturday!
Also, don’t forget that the Kentucky Derby runs today at 3 p.m.!
