Coffee Shops, Live Music, Things To Do In Austin | 9 May 2011I’ve learned that Austinites are pretty passionate about their coffee. Whenever I blog on coffee shops, everyone has an opinion. I’m not really loyal to any place in particular. I just like to try new places around town, and I think I found another good one.
I love the smell inside at Fair Bean. They roast their own coffee beans in-house every day, and the smell really fills the room. I also love how some of their coffees have a nice little twist that makes me want to come back for more. For instance, the mochas have melted chocolate chips in them, which I really like. Also, the iced coffee is purely fantastic.
This is definitely a morning place, as they close pretty early (normally at 7 p.m., or at 8 p.m. Thursday – Saturday.) It’s a nice little space with plenty of seating and outlets for your computer.
