142.11 Free Summer Concert Series at Bob Bullock Museum
Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Museums, Outside, Things To Do In Austin | 22 May 2011Enjoying sunset at the Bob Bullock Museum with some free music is the perfect way to wind down a weekend. Nothing beats a few drinks and live music under the summer sun.
Tonight RoTel and the Hot Tomatoes and Beto y los Fairlanes will be playing. Bringing a camping chair for seating would be a good idea. Coolers are also allowed, but no glass or alcoholic beverages — they’ll have a cash bar on site.
The museum will be open and have free admission during the concert.
Speaking of the Bob Bullock Museum, when the summer heat gets to you, a movie at the IMAX is always a great time.
Marcia Ball and Matt Wilson will be playing next Sunday. It will be one of the last of their free concert series, so don’t miss it! Plan to take in some good music and endure some muggy weather either today or next Sunday!
Time: 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Location:
1800 Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas 78701
