188.11 Music Under the Star

Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Museums, Things To Do In Austin | 8 Jul 2011

There’s nothing like finishing a short week with a little live music, especially when it’s free. This popular summer concert series is now in its eighth year, and it’s back for more fun under the star at the Bob Bullock Museum.

They’ll have La Sombra tequila-infused tacos, dessert and Honest Tea, all compliments of the museum.

It’s a good idea to bring chairs and blankets to set up shop on the Lone Star Plaza.
Between sets you’re welcome to explore the three floors of the main exhibits for free. I love the Texas History Museum. There’s just so much to learn!

This is a rain or shine event, so if for some odd reason it actually rains, the concert will go on.
