I’ve wanted to blog on this for a while now, but the window for available tours is always very short. Don’t miss a chance to go up and get a guided tour of the tower before school starts back in session!
The tower has been closed to the public for over three decades, and they’ve just recently started giving guided tours to the top. This 307-foot, 28-story building is an iconic symbol on the University of Texas campus, and obviously a huge part of Texas history.
My favorite thing about the tower is when it lights up burnt orange after a Texas victory! It also offers absolutely magnificent views of the campus and the rest of the city. It’s one heck of a place to catch the Texas sunset.
