293.11 2nd Annual Gypsy Picnic
Dog Friendly, Family Friendly, Festivals, Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Outside, Things To Do In Austin, Trailer Eatery | 22 Oct 2011The Gypsy Picnic is back and aiming to please in its second year. I remember all the complaints last year about the lines and lack of trailers. Well, you talked and they listened, so this year they have more space at Auditorium Shores and tons more trailers! The day will be full of more trailer food than your stomach even wants to handle, as well as live music and beer, all benefiting The Sustainable Food Center.

As you can certainly tell by my Trailer Tuesday, I love going around to various food trailers and testing them out. They’re full of surprises, and I’m constantly amazed at what amazing food can come out of these mobile food carts! My only complaint is that they have the funkiest hours, so this is a great chance to test out multiple places in one location.
This event welcomes the entire family, even your dog!
Admission: free – food samples are $3.
