299.11 Haunted Highball

It finally feels like fall, and I absolutely love it! It’s officially Halloween weekend in Austin and that means there are a ton of fun things going on all over town. The obvious destination for most Austinites is Sixth Street. Halloween on Sixth is one of those things that everyone should experience, but be warned, it’s crazy down there.

For those looking to avoid all the madness of downtown, Halloween at the Highball is a great alternative. I love Highball. It’s basically a guaranteed good time, and the Halloween party promises to be fantastic. Costumes aren’t mandatory, but it’s always more fun, and they’ll have a costume contest with a $100 prize! There also will be a photo booth and plenty of treats.

If you’re looking for something family friendly, the Bob Bullock Museum is having Spooktacular tonight from 6 – 9 p.m. Admission is free.

Halloween joke of the day: Q. Why don’t ghosts have bands? A. They get booooooooo-ed.

Cost: $10

When: Saturday Night

Time: 10 p.m.

Location:
The Highball
1142 South Lamar Boulevard
Austin, Texas 78704

I am a realtor here in Austin, and clients are always asking for suggestions on what to do around town. So, I thought I would blog about my experiences, recommendations and what you have to do before you can call yourself a true Austinite.
