306.11 Austin Tequila Festival
Festivals, Live Music, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 4 Nov 2011I love that this town has so many festivals. I also love tequila, so this event sounds amazing!
They’ll have over 45 tequilas ready for sampling, including big names like Don Julio and local brands like Republic (a personal favorite of mine.) Everyone will get to taste multiple tequilas until they find their favorite. You get to vote at the end of the night, and the three tequilas with the most votes will be named “Austin’s Favorite Tequilas of 2011.”
While enjoying one of the most fun taste tests ever you can also snack on some of Casa Chapala’s favorite meals, listen to live music and dance the night away!
They will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos, so costumes are welcome.
Admission is $25 and proceeds benefit the Homeless Coach, a local organization that uses social media to help get the homeless off the streets.
A photo I.D. is required for entry. I would also recommend taking a cab or having a designated driver, safety first.
