308.11 Texas Science & Engineering Festival
Family Friendly, Festivals, Free things to do in Austin, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 6 Nov 2011Did you remember to set your clocks back one hour before you went to bed last night?

It certainly felt good to beat Tech yesterday. Then again, it always feels great to be a Longhorn. I would rather be in Austin than Lubbock any day.
Anyway, for all the families with little geniuses and future engineers and scientists, this is the perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon. This is the second annual science festival. It will feature all kinds of hands-on activities, events, demonstrations, talks, real life astronaut Dr. Richard Linnehan, and much, much more.
There will be more than 100 booths for you to explore and check out. It’s like visiting a children’s museum on steroids, and it’s free!
