356.11 Look at Christmas Light Displays
Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Outside, Random Fun, Things To Do In Austin | 25 Dec 2011Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa! No matter what you’re celebrating this December, I hope you’re surrounded by family and friends.
All of my posts involving Christmas lights have been popular this year, so I thought I would take one more chance to encourage you to head out and see some of the extravagantly decorated houses in Austin. Each year my family used to drive around on Christmas Eve and check out all the Christmas lights. They’re always so festive!
Here’s the map I put together at the beginning of the month, and posted below is the list that Mozart’s put together this year: http://365thingsaustin.com/2011/12/06/central-texas-christmas-light-displays/
If today is just another day for you and you’re looking to get out of the house, here are some local places that will have their doors open on the holiday: Little Woodrows (6 p.m.-2 a.m.) and Snack Bar.
Happy Holidays.
