Finally, the much anticipated event, “Wicked” makes its debut at Bass Concert Hall tonight. Last time Wicked was in Austin they broke local box office history, selling out in record time. So I am telling you about this early; there are still plenty of tickets and time to see the show that Entertainment Weekly calls “the best musical of the decade.”

Wicked has been the winner of 35 major awards and has won countless praise from all types of media outlets. This Broadway show is the story of two girls who meet in the land of Oz. One grows up to become the Wicked Witch of the West, while the other becomes Glinda the Good. This unlikely pair go onto to become great friends, all the while struggling with controversy, varying opinions and the same love interest.  Austin theatre lovers — this show is not to be missed!
