After hearing more fantastic reviews than I could stand, I finally made it to Lamberts to check it out for myself. I now understand the hype. I can’t believe this was my first visit!

I’ve been on a big happy hour kick lately. It lets me get a feel for a variety of things on the menu at a decent price. Lamberts’ appetizers and bar food are half-off during happy hour, and their drinks are $2 off. You can fill up and not break the bank!
My friend and I got tons of stuff for the table, and it was all amazing. No matter what you order, make sure you get a side of their waffle fries. They were some of the best fries I’ve ever had!  The beer battered shrimp was excellent, and of course, so was the brisket. It was tender, flavorful and extremely filling. I didn’t have room for Frito-pie, so I’ll have to go back.

I left because I couldn’t eat another bite. My only regret is that I hadn’t discovered this place sooner!
