SXSW starts today! Despite the rain this city is about to be alive with energy. For all you out of towners, welcome to Austin, Texas. It’s a week that Austinites either love or hate. So today, I thought I would blog on something for those people looking to avoid downtown.

LC Rocks, a fantastic local 80’s band is playing tonight at The Oasis. They rock out to all your favorite 80’s music like Journey, Motley Crue, Kiss, Bon Jovi and other fun stuff that gets you in the mood for a dance party.

The Oasis has a great view of Lake Travis and one of the best sunset views in Austin. The food is great, and it’s a cool place for out of town guests!
