Family Friendly, Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Outside, Things To Do In Austin | 6 Jul 2012Music Under the Star is back! The popular Friday night concert series is in its ninth season. These family friendly concerts on the Lone Star Plaza are a perfect place to spend Friday evenings in July.
This year they’re featuring nationally known Texan artists. Also, Music Under the Star falls at the same time as the Texas Music Roundtrip exhibit at the museum. This exhibit explores the history of Texas music. Concert goers are encouraged to explore this exhibit and the rest of the museum free of charge between sets!
It really is a treat to hear some fantastic music and explore the wonders of the Texas History Museum.
