Austin showcases just about every kind of musical genre, and jazz is certainly no exception. There are several places around town on any given night where you can hear great jazz and relax with a cocktail.

Every Thursday this month Kenny Dorham’s Backyard is featuring various jazz artists playing in the venue’s breezy outdoor setting.

They will have locally grown food from Sun Farm Kitchen, but don’t forget, it is BYOB (no glass)! Also, remember to bring lawn chairs, blankets, bug spray and anything else you need to stay cool in the elements and enjoy the show.

Admission: Suggested donation is $5. Kids get in free.
