270.12 KVET Texas Music Series: Cody Canada & The Departed

Free things to do in Austin, Live Music, Outside, Things To Do In Austin | 26 Sep 2012

The KVET Free Texas Music Series decided to change things up this year and instead of having shows run all summer they took a break during the heat of summer and started back up in the fall. I like this concept as fall evenings make for more pleasant concert weather!

I am a huge fan of all the upcoming bands, tonight happens to be one of my favorites. Cody Canada used to play in the band Cross Canadian Ragweed who I also love. They will surely be a great show.

Nutty Brown is a great venue for the concert as there is plenty of parking and the amphitheater is huge! Come hungry because they also have great food.
