282.12 Bow Wow Chow

Austin has it all when it comes to food trailers and now Bow Wow Chow brings you the first food trailer focused on your pup!  Local dog lover and owner, Lara Enzor was inspired by her dog to start Bow Wow Chow after noticing that the Austin trailer scene had something for everyone, except dogs.

You’ll find all natural, preservative free, locally baked, fresh dog treats. They even sometimes offer Doggie Ice Cream with flavors changing every day.  The salmon and parmesan is always popular.  This weekend they had a special pumpkin treat that was a hit with my dog.

The treats are very well priced. I would recommend the Baker’s Dozen for $5.00. You can get 13 Travelin’ Treats in any fun combination of flavors.

It goes without saying that Austin is a city full of dog lovers and this is a fun destination for you and your dog.  After speaking with the owner it was easy to see her passion for animals and her love for what she does which always makes supporting local business so easy.

Currently they are open on weekends and make the rounds from dog park to dog park. The best way to keep up with their schedule is to follow them on twitter or facebook.

Speaking of pets, I couldn’t resist sharing this for pet lovers. A friend started to make dog collars, leashes, and yes, bow ties. They are adorable and beyond festive! Check out Blue Beagle Boutique.
