Today is literally “Explore UT” day. Checking out the UT campus in general was bound to make the list at one point or another given all that it has to offer, including the tower, Texas Memorial Stadium and its various museums. But the Explore UT event is something else entirely. It’s the “the biggest open house in Texas.” It’s a day focused on providing visitors an opportunity to get an in-depth look at life on campus at the university.
Things and events to check out today include:
Lyndon B. Johnson Library and Museum http://www.lbjlib.utexas.edu
Perry-Castañeda Library Open House
Campus Scavenger Hunt
The Texas Memorial Museum
Children’s International Festival
March with the Longhorn Band
Speedway Mall Festival
The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum
Today really gives you a taste of all that the University of Texas has to offer in one large dose. There are over 400 activities and events going on around campus today!
As a former Longhorn, I can’t blog about Austin and not mention the University of Texas now and again. Hook ‘em Horns and have a great day!
