The 2nd Street District is of my favorite spots to stroll around. With the excitement of SXSW around the corner, I thought now would be as good of time as ever to blog on some downtown dining options.
La Condesa is great modern Mexican food place located right in the center of it all. For starters I would go with the guacamole and salsas as the salsas gives you a sampling of four different sauces. Their menu definitely consists of some drinks and some meals that are unique which is what I enjoy most them. The Panza De Puerco is an amazing combination of pork belly, apple puree, blue cheese and pear. If you want something a little more traditional the carnita tacos are they way to go and a crowd favorite.
They have a very extensive cocktail menu, I’d go with the white sangria, it is refreshing, light and the perfect summertime sipper.
This springtime weather is the perfect time to check them out and enjoy their patio.
The Huffington Post also named La Condesa one of the best taco spots in America.
