Going to a place that has ‘Gyros’ in the name and opting for the Greek salad is probably a major faux pas, but I’ve never been one to follow the rules. The Greek salad alone is nothing out of the ordinary, but top it with the lamb meat from their gyros, and it’s nothing short of amazing.
It’s pretty much your traditional Greek salad- cucumber, feta, olives, and tomatoes. Topped with the most delicious, flavorful, tender, lamb meat. They’re generous with the lamb as well.
Luckily, I also got to sample their ‘gyro aficionado,’ and when they say their gyros are “big fat” they mean it. The gyro pita was delicious, but like the salad, it’s the lamb that takes your taste buds to a euphoric state.
Hands down, some of the best Greek food offered in Austin. Fair warning though, once you go here, it’s the type of place you’ll wake up craving.
