This trailer behind Crow Bar knows how to make solid sausage. They have over 28 sausage recipes that they make in-house, and the menu rotates each week.
Of the many sausages I’ve sampled since I first discovered them, the Octoberfest, which was on special last week, has been my favorite so far. They have so many unique combinations, Red Velvet Cake Sausage and Mac & Cheese Sausage to name a few. The Red Velvet was as moist as a perfect cooked red velvet cake. The mac & cheese was literally like eating sausage mac & cheese. They get major points for creativity (their was also Apple Pie sausage on the menu when I was there last week), and I can only imagine the other concoctions they’ve come up with.
I am a frito pie fanatic so I had to give their version a chance. I am so glad I did, it was perfectly crafted with fresh, savory chili and topped with cheese.
They also make their own sauces to pair with their sausages. Well done, well done indeed.
