Circuit of The Americas (COTA) announced the return of the popular Bicycle Sport Shop Bike Night Powered by SRAM kicking off March 13 through July 3. The 17-week program will allow cyclists to bike around the world-renowned circuit from 6 until dark every Tuesday, giving them the opportunity to experience the 3.4-mile, 20-turn racetrack at their own pace. To participate, guests must register on-site at COTA or online at www.thecircuit.com/bike.
Bicycle Sport Shop Bike Night Powered by SRAM is open to all levels of experience, from beginner to professional. Riders seeking a more challenging route can conquer Turn 1 — one of the most iconic turns in motorsports. A flatter route is available for novice riders with the Turn 1 Bypass route. Bike Rentals will be available to guests who do not have their own bike, and Bicycle Sport Shop will be onsite to provide mechanical support.
“Two of the primary values for us at Bicycle Sport Shop are our commitment to the community with our advocacy for cycling and supporting great opportunities for people to ride,” said Bicycle Sport Shop Owner Hill Abell. “The Tuesday night bike events at COTA are a fantastic opportunity for cyclists of all skill levels to ride together at one of the most incredible facilities in the world, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
Registration is $15 for early online booking and $20 at the door. Early online booking will close at 10 p.m. every Monday prior to event. Season passes, available for purchase at $195 now through March 19, include thirteen guaranteed rides with additional Tuesday nights free through July.
Parking in Lot A is free and will open each Tuesday at 5:15 p.m.
To participate in Bicycle Sport Shop Bike Night Powered by SRAM, riders must register online at www.thecircuit.com/bike or on site at COTA’s picnic area or Paddock.
