Cafe Josie

Cafe Josie has been a favorite Austin institution since 1997, the cozy Clarksville spot is owned by restaurateur Cody Taylor, and Chef Todd helms the kitchen, creating craveable small plates. Cafe Josie offers an amazing all you can eat menu called “The Experience” for $45 per person. Diners are able to customize their “experience” by ordering as many plates as they desire.  Our top picks include the Korean Fried Chicken, the Scallop Ceviche and the Grilled Hanger Steak.

The cocktails at Cafe Josie are stellar, try the Fire Opal with Mezcal Joven, Uruapan Charanda, and Cappelletti Apertivol, or the Old Austin with Balcones Blue Corn Whisky, Angostura, and Pecan. They have great weekday specials including all night happy hour on Monday, $5 classic cocktails all night on Tuesday, half off all wine on Wednesday, and even Saturday happy hour from 4 to 6 PM.

Cafe Josie‘s brunch menu is also a treat. Offered on Sundays from 10:30 am to 2 pm, diners can get their fill of brunch favorites like Tater Tot Casserole, Quiche Lorraine, Banana Bread, Buttermilk Pancakes and Fried Gulf Shrimp & Grits. The brunch menu is also unlimited plates and costs $25 per person. Don’t forget to get your fill of $3 mimosas as well!

Cafe Josie also has a regular A La Carte dinner menu for those who don’t want the all you can eat option, as well as entirely gluten free menu options. Find out more at cafejosie.com and follow on Instagram at @cafejosieatx
