Our Favorite Raw, Local Wildflower Honey: Round Rock Honey

When spring rolls around, wildflowers and the beauty of the hill country are in full force, and so is the pollen. We reach for a spoonful of local honey when allergies are at an all time high to help quell the sneezing and sniffling. Round Rock Honey is our favorite local honey brand: it’s true, raw wildflower honey coming from their bee yards in Round Rock, Texas. We love supporting brands that are not only local, but have a commitment to quality. Their emphasis on quality is from field to hive to table, we had the opportunity to attend one of their educational beekeeping classes and were able to learn about their processes from taking loving care of their bees to minimally processing the raw honey. Find more about attending their beekeeping classes at roundrockhoney.com/beekeeping-classes

Round Rock Honey has an amazing variety of honey sizes and also has special flavors including Bourbon Barrel Reserve (we love this in our Old Fashioneds!) and Orange Cinnamon, You can find Round Rock Honey at a variety of local stores including H-E-B, Trader Joe’s, People’s Pharmacy, Wal-Mart and Kroger, as well as at their weekend farmers market booths. Shop their products and order online, or visit their shop in Round Rock at 1308 Chisholm Trail.
